Peas and Carrots

I am a girl who loves her veggies...

Two of my favorite veggies are peas and carrots (whats not to like)...

My favorite part about peas and carrots is that they are finger food....

I can play with them and pick them up one by one....

And put them in my mouth and mush them around!!

So much veggie fun in such a small package! Who knew?

March 16th, 2010

On March 16th, 2010 at 5:42 AM... another Stalford girl was born into the world...

She was pink and rosy and perfectly healthy....

...but just as teeny as can be (not even weighing 5 lbs 10 oz)....

We named her Keira, which means "dark haired" and Alaina, which means "peaceful".....

Her mama could not believe how blessed she was....

And Papa was beaming with pride.....

The labor had been long and arduous....

But she was so worth all the effort....

...especially since silly Mommy had natural childbirth again......

Then a surprise came along.....

....in the form of a big sister....

...and two worlds met and would never be the same...

The big sister was curious..... and the little sister was completely unaware...

Then she got to meet the rest of the relatives.... Grandma.......

.....and Grandad.....

And the other Grandma.....

So March 16th, 2010 was an eventful day, to be sure.....

But then again, so has every day since!!

Tech Baby

It starts at an early age.... lol.

Sleeping Sweetie

Can't get enough of my sleepy Squish....

Here she is at naptime....
...passed out.... so peaceful.....

The only time of the day you will catch her sitting still! Such a little darling!

Big Girl

So in all the "new baby" excitement I forgot to mention an exciting piece of news...

In order to make sure Squeaker had a car seat to come home from the hospital in...

Squishy graduated to a "big girl" car seat.... forward facing and all...

And she loves it very much!!

Daddy's Hat

We recently went to the zoo again... (love those annual passes)...

And although Mommy hasn't sorted through all the pics yet... there are some super cute ones...

...of me in Daddy's hat!!

It was a hot and beautiful day... and when we stopped for a snack break.....

Daddy let me wear his hat....

And Mommy snapped some really cute pictures!!! Awwwwwwwww....

Computer Fixed!

So my computer has been broken... hence the lack of blogging. Actually, it was just the power cord that was broken... but it had to be ordered from Hong Kong and took 3 weeks to get here (would have been faster to buy a new computer). I have finally downloaded all the pictures but it is going to take me a while to sort and edit them.
I will post this one picture which I think accurately depicts how my life has changed over the last 2 weeks. lol.

From Daddy

So the Weeklong Christmas continued....

...with a special present from Daddy...

First, my favorite part...

...the wrapping paper!

I don't understand why people throw it away...

This is great stuff!!

And look what's underneath?

Another big box!

Then out of the box came all these bright and colorful pieces...

With all sorts of nifty moving parts...

It was like one toy with a whole bunch of toys on it...

Once it was all put together.... it was the coolest thing ever!

Thanks Daddy!

Grown Men... Pink Blocks

I didn't get around to opening all my presents on Christmas morning...

So I got to open some of them later in the week....

I got some pink Princess Legos....

That I thought were just the greatest things in the world....

With a little bit of assistance...

I started building a castle...

I was figuring out how all the pieces fit together....

When Daddy and Uncle John decided that looked like a lot of fun....

So they came to "help" me...

And pretty soon there were two grown men...

...building a castle....

...out of pink Princess Legos...

...and they were really enjoying it!

I'm glad they helped... the final castle turned out pretty cool!

I'm just not allowed to tell anyone they are the ones who made it!
