It's the Second Anniversary....

...of a couple of crazy kids......who drove to Thomasville, Georgia......and got married... ...on the day before Thanksgiving...They rented a cheap hotel......and drove to the courthouse early in the morning...
They sat in the lobby....
The handsome groom....
...and his blushing bride...
...and waited to hear if the ONE judge would have time to marry them.
She did!!
And so, on a warm November day....
...a boy...
...and a girl...
...promised to love each other, from that day forth...
...and to join their lives together, for better or worse...
...and forsaking all others, to cling to the love that had brought them together after so many years....
...and they have!

Halloween

So we just celebrated Squishy's first Halloween...She was the worlds cutest caterpillar...Mommy was a clown...And Daddy was himself (booooooooring)...Next year Mommy told Daddy dressing up was NOT going to be optional...
(and yes, she kept trying to grab my nose all night...)
We were not alone in our adventures...
We were joined by 2 fierce Jolly Green Giants....
...plus a Bathing Beauty (and their parents, Chris and Sarah)...
We were later joined by a vampire and Hannah Montana...
...and a monkey!
Squishy took Trick-or-Treating in stride...
She had no idea what was going on... but she loved all the attention....
...and gave out huge grins to anyone who opened their door...
We didn't go very far... maybe halfway around the neighborhood...
Then we came home to inspect our bounty...
Not a bad take for her first Halloween....
And no, she did not eat one single, solitary bite of candy...
She will be lucky if she EVER gets to eat candy... but I'm sure Daddy will intervene at some point...
And then, the Halloween post would not be complete without a picture of Squishy and Adam....
...or two... (so cute)...
...or three... (can't resist, sorry)....!!

Homemade Pumpkin Patch

With Daddy's crazy work schedule... we did not get to a pumpkin patch this year....So we made one........in Grandma's front yard...
...on Halloween afternoon (better late than never)...
We did not get around to carving our pumpkins this year either...
But I am going to use them to make Pumpkin soup and Pumpkin pie for Thanksgiving....
Next year we will try to get to an ACTUAL pumpkin patch...

And next year we will have TWO little pumpkins of our own!!!

*gulp*

A Purple Bonnet

Mommy is silly!
She always dresses me up and takes these ridiculous pictures...
Like the other day she found this purple bonnet...
...and brown boots... that I have never gotten to wear...
So she put them on me... and we had to take pictures...
I kept trying to pull off the hat... and the boots were too small...
But Mommy thought the pictures were cute... so here we are!
