Spa Baby

I love love LOVE to take baths!Baths with lots and lots of bubbles.....I love to play in the water while it fills up the tub...Sometimes I laugh so loud Mommy is afraid the neighbors will hear (especially since it echos in the bathroom)...

Then I love to splash....

And scoot...

And munch...

And play....
I have no idea tubs are for washing! I just think they're so much fun!!

Highchair Helper

I love to be Daddy's little helper!Counting all the pieces to make sure they are there...Watching them to make sure they don't get lost...Laying them out so he can find them...

Inspecting his work to make sure it's done properly...

Offering creative suggestions on how things can be done more efficiently...

...and giving Daddy gray hair before his time...

But all that hard work was worth it in the end......because now I have a high chair!!! Thanks Daddy!!

More Crib Cuteness!

Since her crib has been dismantled and will not be set up again until we move tomorrow.... I thought I would post the last pics I took of her in her crib before we took it apart!Also, we are going to have to drop it down.....

...because as you can see...

with her now standing... it has become a health hazard!

The four foot drop to the floor would probably not bode so well for the little Squish!

And she is an adventurous little monkey, so trust me, it would happen!
So the next time you see her in her crib... it will be with modifications!!

The Story of Wilson

This is Wilson!Wilson is a blue hippopotamus.Wilson is also one of Squishy's bath toys!How did he come to be Wilson? I will tell you....

One day Mommy and Daddy were giving Squishy a bath....

And she was playing with her little blue hippo... munching on him and such...

When he accidentally slipped out of her hands....

...and began to float away (can you see where this is going?)...

As he floated across the tub, out of Squishy's reach, my husband cried out "WIIIIIIIILLLLSSSSSOOOOOOONNNNNNNNNN!"

At which point we both cracked up hysterically... which left our poor daughter staring at us in confusion ("something funny just happened... but I don't know what it was?")...

And that little blue hippo has been "Wilson" ever since!!

He makes me smile everytime I go in the bathroom. We will explain it to Squishy when she gets a little bigger! I think she'll find it funny too!

A Squishy Daddy

Daddy gets home from work late.....So of course he wants to spend time with Squish before she goes to bed...They tickle.... and giggle....

And bounce...

and fly through the air....
...and then he wonders why she won't go to bed??

Standing.....

I am such a helpful girl...I like to help Mommy pack boxes...And use the boxes....to pull myself up....

AND STAND UP!!!

Can you believe it??Standing at six months???
Mommy can't believe how big I'm getting....
...but I love every minute of it!!

Driving With Daddy

Squish got her first "driving lesson" today with Daddy!

We met in a parking lot to help some friends move...

... and it turned into an impromtu photo op..

"Look Mommy, I'm driving!"

"And it's so much fun!"

So much fun I kept standing up and trying to climb the steering wheel...

Daddy even let me honk the horn and scare the crap out of several innocent bystanders...

"How long before I get to do this on my own again?"

A long time, baby girl.... a LONG time!!!
