Your Baby Can Read!!
Squishy has started on the "Your Baby Can Read" program by Dr. Bob Titzer.We only started it on September 1st... but I have already had so many people ask me about it I thought I would share... Sometimes she doesn't...She's never watched TV before this... so I think she is mildly amused by this noisy box with flashing colors... but I don't think she "gets" it...Her attention span is about 20 seconds long right now......but I do the whole thing along with her to make it fun and interactive...Honestly, she pays more attention to me than she does the DVD...So we clap and we wave... we put our arms up and our arms down...We sing "Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star" and "The Eensy Weensy Spider"...It comes with complimentary word cards....That have slide out pictures......So we are learning our body parts.......and animals...And she really seems to enjoy it...So, she's not "reading" yet....

Dr. Suess will become your best friend! Studies have shown that kids that were read to as hobbits have better vocabularies and are generally smarter. Auntie Kaela will have to make a video teaching the princess sign language.
