Dinner is Served...

So I have to brag on my hubby because he did the sweetest thing yesterday...He called me from work and told me not to make dinner... he was going to take care of it...

So he comes home with an armload of groceries... and proceeds to cook...

LOBSTER!!

...and shrimp, marinated in lemon butter with chives (I didn't know he knew what chives were)...

He throws this all on the grill...

...with some very nice steaks he had gotten for himself...

And then whips up some garlic mashed potatoes from scratch...

Sets a beautiful table....

And puts the baby to bed early....

For desert... petit fours... so not on my diet! I ate every bite!!!

When I asked him what the occasion was, he said, "Because you're my wife!"

Say it with me now.... "Awwwwwwwwwww!"
