Fourth of July: Part 2

We arrived at the fairgrounds in the early evening...We got to see very interesting things.... like a guy on a unicycle...And a really bad Elvis impersonator that looked like Donny Osmond...But the coolest thing at the fair....THE PETTING ZOO!!!There's just something about petting soft fuzzy animals that you never outgrow...

Little fuzzy chicks....

And little fuzzy bunnies...

And not so fuzzy gopher tortoises....

And the chicken that Lauren tried to eat....

Then as dusk approached, we stood in a very long line...

To get in touch with our inner hippie....

GLOWSTICKS!!!!

What is it about crackling tubes of florescent light....

That make it suddenly feel like a party!!

Then it was off to tailgate...

...and watch the fireworks!

Squish was not the hugest fan of the fireworks... which surprised us because she is pretty much fearless (it was a really long day for her). So she watched the fireworks from inside the car with Daddy....
It was a very happy.... very fun... very busy Fourth of July!
